Hello! My name is Andrew. My career has mainly been in product, largely focused on mobile games. I grew up in England, graduated from Imperial College London, then spent several years working in China before returning home to the UK.
Things I enjoy:
- Games have been a big part of my life since I first got on our IBM 486 as a child. This interest has carried through to my career.
- China, where I spent 7 years living. I love Chinese language, food and culture. I am a decent Mandarin speaker and wannabe Sichuanese speaker.
- Programming as a bedroom coder and hobbyist game dev.
- Business and entrepreneurship, especially around tech.
- Sports: Motorsport, football, basketball, gym, running.
- Dogs: They definitely count as a hobby.
At work, I do whatever I can to give products the best chance of success. I’m lucky to have a varied role where I can get involved in digging into data, building roadmaps, game design, economy, numerical balancing, live ops and more.
